I went in for the meeting today with my old job, which turned out to go on longer than I expected, and the extra time spent was unnecessarily because there were things that had to be changed, while some were over discussed. But in the end, with assistance from my union, all was fixed and I am going back to work.

I have a new position, a new (slightly bigger) salary, a new supervisor, and I’m at a new site. Hopefully, this will be the beginning of something good. I’m ready to start and am up for the challenge. There is still a grievance on the table for other issues, but all of that will be handled in the coming months. A win is expected. There’s no where to go but up from here. I’m gonna make sure. Wish me luck…
